Tim Pool is a right-wing podcaster. His company is Timcast Media.[1] The Timcast channel on Rumble showed 485,000 followers on 1 October 2026.[2] That is a follower stock. It is not how many people watch an episode.

The New York Times reported in October 2025 that he commanded an audience of four million between his YouTube and X accounts.[1] That figure mixes two sites. It is not a Rumble audience and it is not a concurrent count.

Tenet Media[edit]

In September 2024 the Justice Department accused two Russians of arranging about $10 million in payments to Tenet Media, a Tennessee company, in a scheme to use established influencers to spread Kremlin-friendly messages. The New York Times named Pool among the commentators Tenet had lined up to post original content, with Benny Johnson and Dave Rubin. The Times said Tenet's videos were then promoted on YouTube, TikTok, X, Facebook, Instagram, and Rumble.[3]

The indictment, as the Times described it the next year, did not charge Pool. He said he was unaware of the source of the funds.[1] The Guardian reported his statement that they were "deceived and are victims."[4] The accusation in the indictment is against the people the Justice Department charged with arranging the payments.

Pentagon access[edit]

In October 2025 the Defense Department gave building access to outlets that signed its new press rules, after most major news organizations refused. The Times and the Guardian reported that Timcast was on that list. Pool wrote that Timcast would not keep a significant presence at the Pentagon, and that if a major story conflicted with the rules he would put the public's right to know first.[1][4]
