Known forThe Dan Bongino Show

Dan Bongino hosts The Dan Bongino Show, a right-wing podcast. The video version streams on Rumble.[1]

He stopped the show to become deputy director of the FBI. The Associated Press reported that President Trump installed him in March 2025, and that on 17 December 2025 Bongino said he would resign the next month. Trump told reporters he thought Bongino wanted to go back to the show.[2]

The New York Times reported on 12 January 2026 that the podcast would resume on 2 February, nearly a year after it had stopped, live daily on Rumble, and as a podcast rather than also as a radio show. Bongino said he was excited to get back behind the microphone. The Times said Cumulus Media, which would sell ads for the new run, had said the show was downloaded more than 200 million times in 2023.[1] A download total is not a concurrent audience. The Times also said he founded The Bongino Report, a conservative news aggregator, and had hosted a Saturday night show on Fox News.[1]

The first show back[edit]

Politico reported that on 2 February 2026 Trump called in, and that Rumble's own view count opened around 140,000 and peaked around 220,000.[3] That peak is one episode. It is not the show's week.

The Rumble stake[edit]

NOTUS reported on 14 March 2025, citing corporate filings, that Bongino owned 5.7 percent of Rumble, and that on the last episode before the FBI he said he would separate himself from the business.[4] That is a March 2025 filing as NOTUS reported it. This page does not have a later filing.
