Peak viewers is the highest concurrent audience in a stated period. It measures a moment: a final, a raid, a drop, a news event. It does not measure the week.
TwitchTracker's "top streams of the week" is this number. On 23 September 2026 the top of that list was a farewell broadcast, a Fortnite tournament stream, and league championship coverage, with peaks well above those streams' own averages.[1] Report the peak and the average, or the peak is an advertisement for the spike.
