Average viewers is the typical concurrent audience over a stated window: one stream, seven days, thirty days. It is the number to use when saying a channel "holds" an audience.
It is not the peak. A league final can post a peak several times the average of that same stream. TwitchTracker's weekly peak list is a peak list. A channel's week is the average, the hours streamed, and how many days they were live.
One raid or a front-page hour pulls the average up. Say so when the window is short.
