Xavier Dang (born 26 August 1980), known as MisterMV or mistermv, is a French Twitch streamer, speedrunner, videographer, and electronic / game-music composer. He is a leading figure in francophone speedrunning coverage and co-created the SpeeDons charity events with Médecins du Monde.[1][2]
Early life and music[edit]
Born in Clichy, Dang struggled with school phobia and completed much of his schooling via correspondence and day-hospital programs before earning a DEUG in English. He began composing electronic and video-game music in the late 1990s, including work distributed through the Hellven netlabel tied to the demoscene.[1]
Streaming[edit]
He moved into live streaming in the early 2010s, specializing in speedruns, retro games, and long-form community events. The Twitch channel mistermv (created 2012) became one of France’s best-known speedrun-centric partnered channels.[1]
SpeeDons[edit]
From 2021 he helped organize 'SpeeDons', annual French speedrun marathons raising money for Médecins du Monde, combining relays of runners with charity messaging.[2]
