Yoo Yoon-jin (Korean: 유윤진; born 28 July 1992), known online as Jinnytty (윰찌니), is a South Korean Twitch streamer noted for long-form IRL travel broadcasts and high chat interactivity across Korean, English, and other languages. Chinese-speaking viewers often call her the "Penguin Sister."[1]
Early life[edit]
Yoo graduated from University High School in Irvine, California, in 2010 and later earned a degree in Information and Interaction Design from Yonsei University in South Korea.[1]
Career[edit]
She began streaming on Twitch in late June 2017, initially around Hearthstone and viewer-driven variety. After early growth she leaned into travel and conversational IRL formats, including Taiwan-focused content and a 2018 fan meeting there. From late 2019 she also courted European and North American audiences, traveling and collaborating (including periods streaming from the United States during the early COVID-19 pandemic).[1]
On 6 October 2022 she signed with esports organization TSM. In 2023 she streamed a walk covering about 1,076 km around Taiwan—popularly called the Waddlethon—which brought large follower and watch-time spikes; the trek also drew press after a stalking incident that involved police. In April 2025 Taiwanese authorities barred her from entry for three years after finding she had worked without a permit during a 2023 game-related pop-up. In May 2025 she was assaulted on a street stream in Toulouse, France, when a man struck her camera.[1]
