Firebat

James Kostesich, known as Firebat, is an American Hearthstone streamer and the winner of the inaugural 2014 Hearthstone World Championship. He later transitioned into full-time educational and entertainment streaming after leaving the competitive circuit.<ref name="blizz">BlizzPro – Worlds 2014</ref>

Career

Kostesich defeated Tiddler Celestial 3–0 at the 2014 World Championship for a US$100,000 prize, becoming the game's first world champion. He continued competing and streaming for years before stepping away from the pro grind around 2020 while remaining a major Hearthstone content voice.<ref name="blizz" />
