DanTDM

Daniel Robert Middleton (born 8 November 1991), known as DanTDM (formerly TheDiamondMinecart), is an English YouTuber, gaming commentator, and author. His channel, started in 2012, ranks among YouTube's largest gaming destinations by subscribers and lifetime views.<ref name="src">Source</ref>

Career

Middleton studied music production at the University of Northampton and worked retail jobs before switching full-time to YouTube. Early videos focused on Minecraft Let's Plays for younger audiences; he later expanded into vlogs, touring live shows, and publishing. The 2016 graphic novel Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal spent weeks atop the New York Times hardcover graphic list. He has Guinness World Records recognition for Minecraft channel views, multiple UK Kids' Choice Awards, topped Forbes's 2017 highest-paid YouTubers ranking, and voiced the UK theatrical cut of Ralph Breaks the Internet. In 2025 he began presenting Classic FM's game-soundtrack series Next Level.<ref name="src" />
