Daequan Loco, known as Daequan (channel history includes 'DaequanWoco' / TSM_Daequan branding), is an American Twitch streamer and former competitive Fortnite player. He became one of the game’s breakout English-language streamers after joining Team SoloMid in 2018 and remains among Twitch’s most-followed accounts.[1][2]
Career[edit]
Raised in Florida, Daequan pursued basketball seriously before shifting to PC streaming. Dexerto reports he self-funded a gaming PC after his family initially urged him back toward school, then grew rapidly once Fortnite squads and entertaining commentary took off. He signed with TSM in February 2018, became associated with popularizing aggressive shotgun techniques in public discourse, and later appeared with other North American orgs as he moved from ranked grinding toward longer-form variety and Just Chatting content.[1]
