Jaryd Russell Lazar, known as summit1g, is an American Twitch streamer and former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. After leaving competitive esports he became one of Twitch's best-known variety FPS and survival-game broadcasters.<ref name="wiki">Wikipedia – Summit1g</ref>

Career

Lazar transitioned from pro CS:GO into full-time streaming, popularizing long-form broadcasts of titles such as CS:GO, The War Z, Escape from Tarkov, Rust, DayZ, Grand Theft Auto V, Sea of Thieves, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and sim racing via iRacing, among others.<ref name="wiki" /> His style emphasizes chill commentary, high mechanical aim, and extended live sessions that helped define early–mid 2010s Twitch variety FPS culture.

He remains associated with large English-language audiences on Twitch and complementary YouTube highlight channels.
