Casimiro

Casimiro Miguel Vieira da Silva Ferreira (born 20 October 1993), known as Casimiro or Cazé, is a Brazilian journalist, sports commentator, humourist, and livestreamer. He is among Brazil’s most popular streamers, with multi-million Twitch followers and enormous combined YouTube reach via CazéTV and clip channels.<ref name="wiki">Wikipedia – Casimiro (streamer)</ref>

Career

Born in Rio de Janeiro to Portuguese immigrant parents, Casimiro rose through Esporte Interativo / TNT Sports Brazil’s EI Games and the De Sola YouTube comedy-football channel, with a stint on SBT Sports Rio. Daily Twitch streams in 2021—catchphrase “meteu essa?”—made him a breakout Brazilian creator; he won iBest Twitcher of the Year and Prêmio eSports Brasil Personality of the Year.<ref name="wiki" />

In January 2022 a Neymar Netflix react peaked above 545,000 Twitch viewers (then a Brazilian record and among Twitch’s all-time global peaks). He briefly led the world in Twitch subscribers (~97,000) in April 2022, partnered to air Campeonato Carioca and later 22 FIFA World Cup 2022 matches; a Brazil–Serbia YouTube stream exceeded 3.48 million concurrent viewers. He married Anna Beatriz Lima in December 2022.<ref name="wiki" />
