S1mple

Oleksandr Kostyliev (born 2 October 1997), known as s1mple, is a Ukrainian professional Counter-Strike player. Widely regarded as one of the greatest CS:GO players, he was ranked HLTV's world No. 1 in 2018, 2021 and 2022 and spent most of his peak years with Natus Vincere.<ref name="wiki">Wikipedia</ref>

Career

Kostyliev began competing in the mid-2010s with HellRaisers and FlipSid3 before joining Team Liquid in 2016, reaching major finals. He moved to NaVi later that year and became the team's defining AWPer, culminating in an undefeated PGL Major Stockholm 2021 title and Major MVP. After a CS2-era break and loan spells (including Falcons and FaZe), he left NaVi in 2025 and signed with BC.Game Esports. He also streams and maintains a large Twitch following.<ref name="wiki" />
